Quietly

Quietly I sit and write
All through the hours of the night.
And with the dawn
When nighttime ends
Another day begins again.
I watch. I learn. I listen too.
All through the day
This I do.
And when the day must fade away
And nighttime settles in.
Quietly I’ll sit and write
All through the night again.
