Quiet Triumph

In broken silence,
a single breath rises--
flickers of hope through the cracks,
light spills where shadows clench
vigor birthed from the stillness,
victory whispered softly.

A powerful poem, my friend. Stillness always seems to play a part in long term success. As the Bible says, "Be still and know that I am God!" I love the line, "victory whispered softly". :-) A poet friend in Texas, Bill

Thank you, Bill . You’re so right—stillness has its own quiet strength, and that verse is such a perfect reminder of it. Blessings from my heart to Texas!

perfect title for this gem of a poem! I especially liked 'vigor birthed from the stillness.' You're right, victory comes with silence and knowing when not to speak. Well done & beautiful poem, hugs, Sara
