Quiet Sunday
Quiet Sunday
Oh, thank You for this silent Sunday morning,
When stillness bids “Be still and know that I am God,”
And You do not speak save
Through the buzzing wings of gathering birds.
All is as if yesterday’s fears have died
Never to return – never to return.
In this moment of a Sunday to refresh with You
And to drink of the unseen wine of a cleansing heart.
