Quiet and Had Been Hushing
For a while were quite and had been hushing,
Then into our lives Holy Spirit came rushing;
Prayed while kneeling,
When we felt a feeling;
Faces became red and much were blushing.

We knew that the devil had been sinning;
Was always doing it from very beginning;
God played ball,
With each and all,
Sure to be with us no matter what inning.

God's greatest feature is He does redeem;
And forever over us will remain supreme;
Exact and precise;
Not one single vice;
So precious to me He always surely seems.

While we all would have toiled and tarried;
Across rough water on a ship were ferried;
On we did keep going,
While God was knowing;
Place were going and end up being carried.

God made me aware of what I was doing;
All words and thoughts in Bible viewing;
Trying to find,
Peace of mind;
My heart and spirit He has been renewing.
