Quiet

As a recovering addict I have often pondered what makes the addict mind
So reckless...
So impulsive...
So destructive...
So obsessive...
So disquiet !!
So bloody noisy all the bloody time that the only way one can breath or find a single second of solitude is to numb the infernal organ in ones head until it has been completely cauterised with artificial intoxicants and beaten into submission with outside stimuli.
Why ?
Why, because calamitous calm permanently pacifies my suitably unstable mind.
