Quick Cuts: 4, 5, 6, 7.

4. Insurance agents
    make safe arrangements
    for you and your family.
So, in case, you go BLOTTO!
    at home, in the auto,
    rest assured you're insured. R.I.P.

5. Kill the umpires!
    Dour deniers
in the home teams' last at bat.
    that called third strike,
    we didn't like!
    You CENSORED Bleep! Take that!

6. When you meet your Maker,
    the undertaker
prepares what's left for your hole.
    So your bones stay dry
    as the years go by,
too bad he can't prepare your soul.

7. It is past perverse
    how the nurse can reverse
what used to be the norm.
    Pneumonia or flu,
    the doctor sees you
only after you fill out each form.

Thanks also to: Dane Ann Smith Johnson, John Heck, Vince Sudazail, James Marshall Goff
as well. Thank you. I've missed a couple, but I will get every single one, I promise. THANK
YOU! I was told for many years that I was a failure;no good; a loser; and that I would never
succeed at anything. It has been quite hard shaking that. Thank you all for your kindness
and remarks. It means more than you will ever know.

Cream of the Crop Gerard you are in my book. Close your ears to the ones who think they know you~~~~~ open your eyes and read what we the ones who do know you have to say. And shake the negativity away. You are doing terriffic on listing the Cream of the Crop here at the Soup dear friend. And just look at the Splended poetry you have flowing. Love, Carol

What a great, creative write, Gerard! People literally die in emergency rooms waiting to be seen while filling out papers. I have little faith in insurers and certainly share your feelings on the umpires. In fact, I think the NCAA does far more harm than good. I must look for Quick Cuts 1,2,3. (And often times people put us down only in a vain effort to build themselves up -- don't pay attention! You are gifted and valued.) Love, Carolyn
