To be respectful and give dignity,
You’d think it a right to humanity.
To be decent and fair and kind,
You’d think it right, but justice is blind.
Why can’t we just put aside our difference?
Why can’t we just put aside our indifference?
Why can’t we just be different?
Why can’t we just be?
