Question Marks

I need to get a grip on reality
you've got me tossing and turning
losing sleep over this
You've got me ready
to throw the towel in
but truthfully I know
this will never end

No matter how distraught I may be
This feeling could never dissolve
something that so was meant to be
something like faith
could never fade
and we shall remain unresolved
until that one day comes

So I secretly humor myself
when I look into your eyes
My flimsy disguise
is starting to waver
I want to taste you
like an uneaten life saver

You make me want to cherish
every moment in life
because I never knew
someone like you could exist
this is it and that is that
but what are we
it's something I may never answer
