Notes About The Poem

Contest " Q " Words- sponsor Constance La France

Quest

To see the world through eyes of peaceful means
and honor the reasons for right and wrong
to learn from failure, and what wisdom gleans
and redeem the truth no matter how long
this is my quest for a life that's well lived
to set boundaries I shall never cross
to never hold another's love captived
to keep my honor whatever the cost
I'll find a way to bow before anger
and keep such emotions away from love
I'll speak softly with a truthful candor
to live this lifetime is one well thought of
if in the end, I accomplish this task
to live life, where my face was not a mask

- Beautiful, Frederic ... we should all try to live without masks ... the masks are false ... often without compassion ... best wishes in the contest, my friend :)
