Queen Ann Lace

If you want my love sweet
to be then take self with
me to place of fields so
green where we can stroll and
not be seen and phone calls
we can flee. The day is
nice the time is fine, this
jug speaks of my choice wine.
A loaf and cheese can be
ours dear, if you so want.
As we walk I will sing
you a rhyme of brave knights
in old times when maid’s care
was theirs to hold with use
of might in fights all bold
Come be with me the time
is prime. I will lay you
down with love’s soft care in
Queen Ann Lace we see far
from the town’s crowd, mon Cher
