Quat Seq - When I Am Lost

Inspiration - What Child Is This - by Greensleeves Lord, you sent your son to show us the way, and dead- in his mother's arms he lay; an innocent child was born under a sparkling star, his path decided but always, always a son to her. When I am lost and alone in this worldly realm Lord, wandering, wandering and my tears have all poured; I know you are always close by and supporting me, holding, holding me close with arms none can see. O, what child, what child is this the wise men said, born to a virgin woman in this barn, this shed; so, if your son could let go of his pain for all of us, then, help me Lord to let go of all my distress. When I am lost and alone in this worldly realm Lord, wandering, wandering and my tears have all poured; I know you are always close by and supporting me, holding, holding me close with arms none can see. _____________________________ January 7, 2020 Poetry/Quatrain/When I Am Lost Copyright Protected, ID 20-1214-674-03 All Rights Reserved, 2020, Constance La France Written for FFI Blog Series 57 - Quat Sequ Brian Strand Podium Place 1
