Quantum Dream

I dream't of distant places
Considered moments and eternities 
Imagining if I only existed 
like a line in some story
Wondered what had become 
of my time already done
Wondered if they left, like Sol, 
when finally it drops its cold shadow,
before warming other spaces,
or enjoys an instant in secret places
I wondered if there were atoms 
already set to depart 
Worthy, noble matter
that granted me care,
now leaving for the distant stars
Those atoms, there eternally
Things that let the universe be
All that once occupied
the mountains and the sea's
