Pyramid of Peace
Your fingers around my soul,
like the first stones set on Giza’s plain —
layer upon layer, we build in silence,
a pyramid of love and eternal peace.
I own your signature upon my soul,
etched not in papyrus, but in starlight and stone,
a covenant no desert wind can erode,
like silk that births a butterfly from bone.
Kiss me when the sun sleeps
in the cradle of night’s dark arm.
Let us raise our pyramids together,
stone by stone, breath by breath, warm.
In the quiet between heartbeats,
I lay your name as the cornerstone
no storm can shake it, no century can move it,
for peace is the mortar that holds us alone.
Let time carve its name on mountains,
let rivers forget their way to the sea,
but we will remain, two souls in one shadow,
an oath written where no ending can be.
Let the cruel dust of time pass over,
and find us still unbroken, aligned.
For thousands of years they will whisper:
"Here stood a love that became eternal in stone,
a wonder the world could not unbind."
