Notes About The Poem

Put the Past Aside - the Dark Side of the Moon

Bitter, the taste of tears on your color less cheeks, breathe,
reality on the run hurts worse than the insane damage of
any words thrown in hatred; let my crooning eclipse you,
insolate you, like a halo on an angel. “Speak to me of us,
nevermind, the money and the great gig in the sky or them."

B itter, THE taste of tears on your COLOR less cheeks, BREATHE,
R eality ON THE RUN hurts worse than the insane DAMAGE of
A NY words thrown in hatred, let my crooning ECLIPSE YOU,
I nsolate you, LIKE a halo on an angel “SPEAK TO ME of US.
N evermind, the MONEY AND the GREAT GIG IN THE SKY or THEM."

Speak to Me/ Breathe, On the Run, Time, The Great Gig in the Sky,
Money, Us and Them, Any Color You Like, Brain Damage, Eclipse

The contest judge gave all the names of songs on 1 ablum & said use those words and write a poem. The first few lines are my verse- the second part shows you where I used the words from the titles, the 3rd part IS all the titles.

Debs. Is this that contest about song titles? Or perhaps based on your own poetry titles. It sure is looking cool how you did it. If it were an acrostic contest, you spelled BRAIN!!

A well and extreme brilliant write.....at times, truth seems to be a poison but it is stimulant to life. The importance of friendship is to breath out reality to each. I love the flow of your write the truth within intoxicated me as a drunkard....excellence........A.M.
