Purple and Blue

My beautiful dove
when first
I heard your voice
lights sparkled
behind my eyes
neon in purple and blue...

My heaven
I felt your spirit
lighter than air
gift of passion
sea became sky
stars were dew...

A kind of magic
colors of love
your voice
a song of you
the cooing
of a beautiful dove...

So magical
as I lie here
thinking of you
my world
colored in purple and blue...

I may say to you
you are lovely
lovely as a purple blue horizon
in dawn on the sea
with a purple blue
that echoes of the night...

I now wish
to see the
silhouette of your body
as I am
the purple blue shadow
a voice transparent in lilac
that seeks you...

I am a sash
wishing to wrap
around your body
you , my beautiful dove
sister of purple and blue...
