Pure Waiting

Pure waiting

You have wandered and changed places
You my dark lover of the night,
I lay here alone
My time away tis spent with your name in my head
Your return is imminent but still
unsure of what exact day
Time is of such sweetness when I spend it with your name on my lips
Much hope adorns in my starry eyes,
Should I spend my time in consideration of why I feel this way
Or if I did would that not kill everything that is new within me
No twill I not destroy my affection through this thought
I shall believe that when next we meet
'twill be as good as the last time

Absence from you has made my heart pure
My sweetest love
