Anne-Lise, nice how you can celebrate a simple pleasure! Also wonderful to let this play bring back fond memories. That speaks of a good upbringing (with narcissists far away)! Smiles!

Powder snow is such a different snow. I don’t remember it from my childhood. I visited my grandson, went to make a snowball and the powder fell through my gloved fingers. I was amazed. They also had a sheet of ice over the snow and he made ninja stars. Great memory!

Snow certainly brings our the kid in us Anne-Lise, it's even nicer now because I don't have to go out in it. Tom

Hey Anne-Lise, What a beautiful image of a starry, frosty night you capture in your Tanka! Think of whirling snow as a "carousal in action.

Ahm, I can live vicariously through your wintery words, Anne-Lise! I've skied the man-made snow grounds and tobogganed down by the cabin! :):)

Hi Anne, I remember as a kid, waking up to see my street covered in snow, couldn't wait to get out there and play, now days I can't wait to get inside. xx
