Pure Bliss

I feel your warm sleeping body
And feel your soft steady breathing
Sleep evades me in these dark hours
As I toss and turn
Too weary and unquiet to sleep
I finally find refuge in your arms
As I nestle close to you
Inhale the virile scent of your skin
I am filled with warmth
We begin to breath in unison
As I drift away
Locked securely in your embrace
After dreaming the night's dreams
And sleeping a blissful sleep
I awaken to the sun shining radiantly
I reach out for you
Half asleep
And as you open your sleepy chocolate eyes
We draw each other closer
You coax me awake with kisses
And as we start our day together
I give thanks for you
Your love
And the new life you have given me
