Breath so warm with its creamy scent
He’d been drinking his mother’s milk
Soft and gentle, his large eyes swam
In tender twinkles of joy that was sent
On doting whispers of love and laughter
Soothing caresses against warm fur
Yearning to hold him just a bit more
Feeling full of hope and faith in love
That graces the one who knows the
Touch of pleasure that comes from
Petting a puppy who loves so openly
God’s healing hand touching down
Breathing devotion through my spirit
In sensations of abandon and hope
For the glorious affection of one
Little lively puppy filled with love
Dedicated to OSCAR
