Puppies

Puppies nearly always pee on the plush carpet prior to housebreaking positively normal; perfectly natural. Poor little fellows can't persist in this practice! FOURTH PLACE WINNER Written April 7, 2021 for "Pleiades Poetry Contest - P" sponsored by Kim Merryman

You got that one correct. Some are easy to housebreak others never get it. Enjoyed reading your winner. Way to go. Congrats. Sara

haha, this one was really fun to read. I think for the title I'd use pee or puppy!! Whatever way, it spells trouble with those puppies!!

I didn't think Pee would get by the censors as a title. Puppy probably would have been a better title, but it was plural throughout the poem. Puppies? yeah, that would have been better! Thanks for the suggestion.

Milton, you are right that puppies need much practice in house training! Congrats on your win in my contest! Blessings, Kim M

Hi L. Milton, Good use of the “ P”s in this verse about puppies. It had a nice flow and rhythm. It made me think of my dog when I was growing up.Best wishes in the contest. Have a good evening:-) Alexis
