Puppet Theater In the Night Sky

the crackling of the clouds
     already white and snowy-gray

the shadows of puppets
  behind satin sheets

         like lightning bugs obeisance
  to the Lord’s applause

the zigzag rags
   behind the mother-cloud

the hallelujah projection
               rolls

    and spectator’s eyes appeased —
the thundercloud euphoriant

If this is a storm, I need to race down south and see it for myself for it sounds lovely. Beautiful name for this poem too, Kim.
