Punxsutawney Phil's Weather Forecast

Folks wait with bated breath 'cross the nation,

   For Phil's insightful prognostication.

      What will his prediction be?

         We will have to wait and see,

            After Phil wakes from his hibernation!

I saw about 25 minutes of the film at school one day so am not qualified to even write a line for a poem lol - the limerick made me smile - maybe add a second verse to make it eligible for the contest? Hugs Jan xxx

Thx, Jan - glad u enjoyed. I'd like to enter it and may after I think about it a little while but if I understand the sponsor's theme, he wants the ground hog to speak and far be it for me to put words in a ground hog's mouth - ha!
