Puerto Rico Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico, Puerto Rico
Have you survived the storm ?
The hurricanes the hurricanes
no mercy do they show.
We ask eternal question
what have we done wrong
Don't blame yourselves,it's no ones fault
Nor punishment from God
Time and unforeseen occurance
I've learned be falls us all.
Prayers are the saving hope
Prayers for our souls.

My heart is heavy, still...Just amazed and grateful there weren't more lives lost. Seeing the destruction in all the areas affected is heartbreaking! We have to hold on to hope and not the things lost. I know it's easy to say that but I really believe it. Always, Annalise~*~

A warm, heartfelt poem of compassion, Terry. My heart bleeds for Puerto Rico's pain, as well as the other islands devastated by the hurricanes. Wonderful poem, my friend. May love light your path always.
