Psychedelic With You

I’m returning to the place of dazzling lights,
Returning to the place where I’m safe,
Where I don’t need to be the man that I am,
I can be the man I create,

And spiral some hope without any thought,
Fly the waves in the air,
And dilate enough to see more than what’s real,
Sit alone and simply stare,

Then talk with the you that you leave behind,
The you when you are asleep,
About the magic of thoughts inside of your mind,
The colours, the shapes, and the deep,

And when I lay down after the high,
I’ll come back from my small rendezvous,
To wake up the next day to a beautiful world,
And once again be amazed by what’s you.
