Proud To Be Canadian

 
"From sea to sea to sea" 

I love my Canada and I am proud to be a Canadian
and share this county with the Aboriginals, French, English
Irish and many other nationalities that create
the intricate tapestry of Canada
a vast rugged beautiful land with wonderful amazing wildlife
a rich varied country with cosmopolitian cities
snow-capped majestic mountains, valleys, boreal forests
rolling plains, lakes, rivers, oceans, and swamps
and lots of snow and frigid cold 
winters,and colorful autumns, springs, and summers
we have great skiing, skating, hockey, and much more
have a large diverse culture of music, dance, art
talent in science and developing our natural resourses
that we share with the world 
we value equality, respect and peace for each Canadian
we are soft spoken, polite, and a peaceful people
our military are known as the peace-keepers 
we have a charter of rights that gives us freedom
and harmony in life and we believe health care is a right
our stories are full of pride, bravery, courage and kindness
we invented the telephone, insulin and light bulb
cardiac pacemakers and so much more
we are loved and respected around the world
O, Canada, I love you !

IN the course of my life i’ve personally known no one who’s not respected nor had anything but high regard for Canada. I’ve also thought highly of Canadian authors. Connie Pachecho February 1, 2025 at 11:02 AM Constance, I enjoyed your tribute to Canada moreso becaue my mother was from Hamilton, Ontario and I lived there for one year, during the 70's, attending the 6th grade. I remember the maple leaf, Toronto Stadium, and a beach near Toronto, Hamilton Stadium (lived a block away), the milk man, and fish and chips. The house we lived in similar to Archie Bunker's house from All In The Family-basement, 2 floors and and a attic .What was remarkable is that the neighborhood was very friendly. Good times. Kim Rodrigues February 1, 2025 at 7:53 AM I’ve been to Ontario (Niagara Falls), Toronto (Crystal Beach) and the Yukon (Emerald Lake) - rode a horse there..so beautiful. A couple ladies were getting ready to hike the Yukon trail…there is such a spirit there that you wanted to join them! Love Canada!
