Proud Star of Bethlehem
Dance we now this Season’s Eve
around the radiant pine , a starlit dome
robed in lace and gold finery—
while we circle through it, hand in hand,
lanterns burn as intentions are done
with a promise of warmth among all men;
to allow forgiveness to be our balm
as trimmings glitter like moonshine;
A Babe’s manger lays near this evergreen
granting our jovial family godly peace,
while lights beyond shimmer of love
that in fondle of colors , kin’s hearts embrace—
Standing quite nobly , an outline glows
the proud star of Bethlehem atop holly’s crown
bringing back Dad and Mom’s Christmas rites...
that gladness of our youth, we now pass on
unto our children this beloved heritage,
with Magi star on the tree flashing a psalm...
'Blessed be , Merry be! '
