A proud bird fan-struts across the grass; feathered-eyes, full-flared. Yellow, blue and green neon glows, in the afternoon sunlight’s rays. Crowned head, held high; puffed breast, shiny feathers; a grand peacock display.

Those birds feel so special, I don't know why but once I saw an albino peacock in a graveyard near an ancient church in Avesbury UK- you'd swear you were in the presence of something holy. Light & Love

Beautiful birds but they are a menace if not controlled - our friends are plagued by 5 of them making dust bowls in the garden and scratching the cars - the owners put up a fence ... but these birds can fly!:-( hugs Jan xx

Thanks so much. I don't know why humans feel that they have to kill and destroy everything else, but it's a sad fact of our species. I think that most people don't see it as destruction, but that's what killing is. Hopefully, we will eventually see this error and change our ways. In the meantime, those of us who do see...well, spread the word and help someone else grow to understand.
