Oliver Wolf Sacks
Was a neuroscientist always in search of facts.
Neurological problems and oddities he studied
Later realizing his face recognition was very much muddied.

This is in honor of Dr. Sacks who passed away on August 30th.

Thanks, Maurice. Read Sacks books and saw the movie Awakenings starring Robin Williams (as Sacks) and Robert De Niro (portraying the first patient he "woke up") about his work on people with encephalitis lethargica. Unfortunately, the drug he discovered (L-dopa) that woke them up did not work in the long run and all his patients went back to "sleep". The horror he discovered from his patients is that they are not truly asleep but are very aware, but unable to communicate or interact.
