Prophesy by Bob Moore ©13 Jan 2022 Went shopping this morning ‘cause you never know with Covid around when you can finally go The shelves may be empty there’s nothing to buy no bread and no milk no frozen meat pie The news had all told us this would happen you know so everyone panicked and to the shops they did go Self-fulfilling prophesy caused by the news came true in an instant as panic ensued Now they say “we were right” and “we told you so” we said this would happen to the shops you did go Bought stuff you did not need but “just in case” now it sits in your cupboard just taking up space. by Bob Moore ©2022
