Promises Made

The room is dim, nothing but candle light
I sit here alone, remembering that night
The light in this room not so long ago
The memories we made, with our hearts a glow.
We danced, you held me
Whispered in my ear
Please never leave me,I Love You my Dear.

I'll love you forever, the promises we made.
But tomorrows aren't promised
The candles go out
So I'll sit here alone and remember when
The days that we loved
The memories won't end.

A part of me you'll always be
My favorite part thats true
To say I Love You,that promise I made
My "greatest promise to you"
