Promises For the New Year
As I put away my Holiday memories
and look forward to the New Year.
I feel a bit of confidence my future dreams
will be met. As I close the old year with,
unfinished desires and anxiety. My thoughts float
to the new. Funny how we always seem to find
new hopes and dreams as we let the past stay in the past.
This year I'll make it, just let me try.
