Promises Broken
So far in the past-
Were those promises,
A campaign now cast-
To the blank corners of the mind,
What happened to you?
Have you succumb to the greed of green?
Has it deterred you from what is good and right?
I beg of you, Barack-
Keep the promises,
Do the proper things,
Do not allow yourself-
To be bought by big business.
