Promised Gleams

 The sky wears a peachy shawl
 Gentle ushering in the dawn
 There is a promised gleam of light

 Into this new day both joy and sadness will come
 Chirping birds entertain with their melody
 Leaving a song in the heart

 Bring in new ideas to rearrange the status quo
 Infinite possibilities lie ahead
 Favoring those who will seize the day
