Promise I Couldn'T Keep

I swore I'd love you forever and
always
But laying down listening to
this song
Go on and on
Makes it hard for me
I can't keep my promise
anymore
It hurts to much to say
But I don't love you
Even though I said I'd stay
I can't
So don't follow me this time
I'll go left
You go right
You can tell that other chick
hello,
yeah start over with her
While I say goodbye

Love and promises are never synonymous. You have expressed yourself decently well here.
