Progression of the Species

subtle satin
nature’s aid to man’s creation,
subtle satin
sleepless nights of lavender spin
yet embracing mediation
our love of procreation,
subtle satin.

Ah, the "love of procreation" adds such a subtle touch of passion to this beautiful poem. Like the alliteration in the "subtle satin" line, Harry. Welcome back! It's great to see you posting again. Love, Carolyn
