Profound Insanity

Ever felt sad but happy? confused and reasonable? excited but afraid, complex equations where hatred love sin virtue play the main roles. It’s like being suspended from a high altitude and let go into space, a dazzle of sunshine. An Intriguing theory? Or perhaps an obscure Conspiracy of lies. It’s a thin line between truth and fantasy.... We Desire to awaken numb souls , uncover the veil why don’t “WE” express what we feel and believe in. Do emotions have to be concealed in riddles? or are they now left in books and libraries and be buried among great leaders and scientists of the past?

It truly is" profound insanity". The human soul became but a "numb soul", a shielded rock and parched from true expression due to concealment.Loved the theme and the power of words brought forth in this write...

I could almost feel the wind caressing my face and the warm sunshine resting on my eyelids as I read... "It's like being suspended from a high altitude and let go into space, a dazzle of sunshine." What beautiful descriptions you have there, Mohamed :) Yes, emotions have been sadly hidden, it is as if showing them these days is a sin... I get where you're coming from... loved this. Your fellow delegate, and friend in Poetry, Maya Kaabour. Welcome to the soup! xx

Welcome to Poetry soup. Emotions only have to be unveiled in riddles when one lives in fear-at least that's my opinion. This poem contrasts nicely the opposing emotions that many feel...one powerful tho't I learned thru my own life experiences is that ...just bc one feels something, it doesn't make it true. Emotions are often our worst enemy. Truth sets the soul free. Blessings upon u and your family this day. Gwendolen
