Procrastination
A
habit
born of fear
or maybe doubt.
Is pride a factor?
Don't tell me what to do
or I won't want to do it!
"I have to", might come into play.
Forcing oneself causes rebellion.
Really now! I have better things to do!
What
do I
need to do?
The good news is
I am free to choose.
I must WANT to begin,
remembering my reward;
the pure joy of accomplishment.
Conscious choices are sure to combat.
Tendencies undermining my success.
