This was fun. It made me remember my grandmother's pantry...full of beans and carrots and lovely stuff. Well written as always... great stuff. Ann

The title gives this piece gives it an enigmatic slant, and makes me ponder on our mortality. Which makes it a very clever Haiku, and a fave. Thanks, Robert. Regards, Viv

This is nice and original! Nice to meet another who sees so much beauty in fruits to write about it! :) I like this Haiku, it shows to me like I mentioned above, both a pretty unique theme, approach on Haiku (I'm far from a Haiku expert though) . I favourited this one and I will keep my fingers crossed for you in the contest!
