Prissy Tale

Have you ever been snobbed by a cat?
Scolded with a slap from a paw?

Has a warm fluffy ball purrred you to sleep?
Have your unmentionables been itchy with fur?

Kittens died in their sleep?

Then you know the Joy and pain
of being allowed to keep company with a persnickety cat.
Who wants to be the boss of everyone.

Yes I know cats, I have one now who is quite independent, when he wants to sleep and he wants to be left alone! Smile, Sincerely, Moses

Oh, yes, Doris, cats rule our world! They snub us when we stay away to long, paw us playfully and certainly help us find the "purrfect" way to sleep. My cats are gone now, but I may get another soon. It will make my house a home again. What a wonderful, uplifting poem! Love, Carolyn
