Prisoner For Now

I turn the key to trap you, and you grin a wicked grin. Half-crazy, burning, imperious eyes glow out from behind cold steel. You are quite confident that your day will come, and you will be free to exercise your desires until you exhaust yourself in sensual pleasure. I am less sure you will ever be free again, though I hope you will be when the time is right. I leave you now in the dungeon maybe for a month maybe for eternity. You will not escape by your own design, for, though you are much stronger than me, you are powerless behind God's sacred steel. Your freedom is not a right, but rather a gift. Under the stern gaze of God, perhaps you shall walk once again in the light. 2024-07-16 ~6-6:15 PM
