Prison For Debtors
the earth we love and fight over
if you did not know
stands as debtor’s prison
humankind lives in it borrowed life
builds on borrowed plots
eats borrowed diets
speaks borrowed tongues
carries around borrowed flesh
animated by borrowed life
all owned by unknown power
when time comes for departure
like a prisoner released
leaves all here crying
to enjoy jailed-freedom
in another prison of unknown nature
but does anyone know a new being
that comes behind to borrow them,
may be as tenth- hand user?
