Princess Starlight

Congratulations and Salutations from the fallen princess starlight.
She molds the orbs so molten warm and sprinkles dusty moonlight.
There's never a cause for swift alarm when her shadow pales the evening,
just silhouettes of memories from the blanket she's been weaving.
The mottled, breeze-blown weeping willow, blue and dark on the grass.
The shimmering lake, alive, awake as it moves to the ripples last.
A cricket sings to sleep the world and never a lonely word is heard this deeply.
The fall of the night on a million eyes and shutting the blinds on the pearly skies.
The whisper of sweet good nights to me and kisses on cheeks of certainty.
This fallen princess starlight.
The matchless tears of midnight.
