A 1946 movie "My Darling Clemetine" starred Henry Fonda as Wyatt Earp and Victor Mature as Doc Holiday. #2 in 10 best movies about WE and DH. #1 was "Tombstone " starring your favorites. Always loved Westerns. Oh, and your poem is great!

I love it all! Recently watched (intently) tombstone...great quote by the way! I also watched Wyatt Earp with Kevin Kostner. (Sp?) I read first chapter of two diff books in the museum library...need to go back. The one book was written by a family member of the Hollidays.

LOL...when life plays out, we see what is what! I was just reading about Doc Holliday. As he left on a train out of Atlanta, his relatives had no idea that he would be famous. A dentist with an illness headed out West to die...

Life has a funny way of making reality into a new kind of strange that we could never conjure up, even if we tried! I love biographies; was this one for Doc Holliday? I also loved Val Kilmer playing Doc Holliday in the movie. "I'm your huckleberry" with Kurt Russell. Nothing better!
