I came to live here when I was a brand new bear,
and shared a room with a little girl with long hair;
it was a pretty room from where I sat in a chair,
sometimes the little girl gave me a dress to wear !
I lay on the bed at night to watch over the girl,
in front of the mirror she liked to dance and twirl;
often, we left the room and skipping would whirl,
sometimes, spinning, spinning we would swirl !
One day my little girl was a women all grownup,
and on the bed I sit- seldom does she pick me up;
I live in the room that I shared with a sweet pup,
now, I watch over a lady with a chipped teacup !
