Price Variant

I guess 44 billion dollars is
the price tag to change the world;

We could have done it for free
if we just walked away,
let it become a wasteland
fall apart and decay;

Money with a side of hyperconscious;
The root has to be pulled up and gutted
to allow something advanced to grow;

Visionary with an unbeatable hand;
Gambler with no need for a win,
driven by a voracious hunger to
unlock human transformation;

Incorrigible curiosity, how far can we take it?
Sparks without tools can never truly catch;
Money burns,
aflame in fiery madness;

Maybe 44 billion dollars is
the price variant to save the world.
