Pretty Fountains
She walked the miles through deserts to mountains
Carrying her heavy pain, all the while
Sometimes releasing, like pretty fountains
Other times, it was difficult to smile
It was dry, it was hard, but she endured
Carrying her heavy pain, all the while
She had determination, in the ground it spurred
With every step she conquered, good was found
It was dry, it was hard, but she endured
Sometimes, she fell with weakness to the ground
Deep pain searing through her veins and her mind
With every step she conquered, good was found
She sought every mountaintop she could find
To stand in the beauty of solitude
Deep pain searing through her veins and her mind
She listened to songs of the doves that cooed
She walked the miles through deserts and mountains
She learned from a positive attitude
Sometimes, releasing like pretty fountains
