Prepping For the Test
Prepping For The Test
The standardized tests in my country come from me
The questions are designed, refined, and masterminded in secret
When they are perfected we feed them to the masses
In truth there are no answers only questions
This season the children will love my staff and I
We will dare them to get one question right
With the tests that we have drafted
Their minds will close just like a book
Minus the writing, no pages, missing a cover and a look
First we’ll start with easy ones;
1.) How many fingers are in French fries?
2.) Where do computers go to die?
3.) Did the devil always have teeth
and did he ever use them on dentists?
4.) How old is the number five?
The next round of questions will set the children’s spirits free
To be good citizens in society
We’re so kind, we’ll give them copies of the tests in advance
You know, to give them a better chance
Examples such as this;
1.) How many sub-atomic non quarks does it take to fill in the color green?
2.) If all mountains went out of existence what would people climb?
3.) Will zero propose to the number 8 or 17 next year and what would their
children look like in the year 4299?
4.) If you push the elevator button several times or harder will it go any
faster?
The last question is not really a part of the equation
Or standardized test on this occasion
I’m trapped in an elevator pushing this same button for hours and hours
There goes my power
