Prehistoric Sand

Incompetent fool What do you think I am? I am not just a simple grain of sand Among millions of others I am a grain of sand That has its own story I have been here For thousands of years I am meant to be acknowledged I have history Read my stories Know my suffering I have seen The beginning and the end What have you seen? Nothing compared to what I have So don’t just hold me in your hand And throw me back down I am one in many But I can still scald your soles
