Predictable

‘Prediction is initiated by Intuition and Prudence nor by Probable Surmise.‘ -Poet.

      PREDICTABLE

Like ascetic you appeared at dawn
         and as nonchalant left casually.
I sat indolent at my lonely lawn.
I wished next visit at least formally.

Had you paid any furtive attention?
Why had you come again at noon? Perchance!
You have not lifted eyes: I must mention.
My eyes were too eager to greet your glance.

Had you reared low shallow feelings for me?
Why had you ventured to enter my room?
Only to hold my hand you didn’t feel free.
My tingling passion was about to bloom.

Will you come close? Is it predictable?
          Impossible or inevitable?
