Precious Time

Time – I plan you out, but you go so fast. You’re going, then gone! I can’t make you last! Where do I go wrong? Perhaps I’m called. Then things get stalled or forgotten, which is rotten! Precious time - hang around just because I need you to . . . PAUSE Jan. 11, 2021 for Caren Krutsinger's A Diminished Hexaverse Poetry Contest

That happens to me all the time. Someone will call and everything gets set aside and often forgotten. Great job for the contest Andrea. You are so wonderful at these difficult forms. Blessings xxoo

Andrea, you packed a lot into time spent on these neat little verses. Time not wasted.

"Where did the time go?" is said by me so often it should probably be written on my headstone some day, haha! Another great write, but this one especially resonates with me and the elusive nature of time. "Pause" is a great word to end this on!

I can very well relate to this. 'You're going, then gone'... so true.. This is a lovely form... I wish to write in this Dimished Hexaverse form soon. This form has its own beauty as the syllables descend in tune to order of stanzas from top to bottom. GREAT work Andrea. Hugs ~ Ani

I also cannot manage all my chores and now when I go to some supermarket I need to draw up a list. If not, bet on it I'll leave something out. ~~

Yes as we age, time does seem to fly, love how you have wrapped your words around Time.
